Job summary

Compass Group USA Alaska is seeking a Senior Cook in Anchorage for full-time and part-time roles. The position involves preparing nutritious, well-flavored meals to standard, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring compliance with HACCP and health regulations.

Schedules are rotational, with up to 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience. Competitive benefits are available to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Must follow all applicable federal, state, local and company standards.
• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Maintain daily production records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items according to policy.
• Help maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assist in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
