Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of modified diets and menu substitutions for healthcare.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, perform recipe math.
• Food handlers card within 30 days of hire for Banner Staffing Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and adjust yields.
• Plan production timing to meet daily orders and menus.
• Minimize food waste and track shortages/excess quantities.
• Check temperatures and follow safety requirements.
• Maintain par levels and restock items as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and report equipment issues.
• Support kitchen staff and oversee production quality when needed.
