Join to apply for the SENIOR COOK (FULL TIME AND PART TIME) role at Morrison Healthcare.

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Senior Cook positions.

Location: Baptist Medical Center East - 400 Taylor Road, Montgomery, AL 36117. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Hours and days may vary, including rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous culinary experience required.

Pay Range: $16.50 per hour to $17.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored, following applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned.
  • Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
  • Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform routine cleaning.
  • Store, label, and date food items; maintain organized storage.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food quality and safety.
  • Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
  • Assist in cross-training employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
