Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Senior Cook at Westminster School, Simsbury, CT. This full-time position runs Thursday, Saturday through Monday, 12:30 pm–9:00 pm. Previous experience preferred.

Pay range is $17.00 to $23.50 per hour, with free meals and laundering service at select locations. Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable standards.
• Oversees cooking activities as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Operates and cleans equipment after use and performs routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items and maintains organized storage.
• Follows HACCP guidelines and health/sanitation regulations.
• Assists in maintaining daily production records and documentation.
