Job summary

FedEx Ground in Indianapolis is hiring a Senior Conveyor Mechanic to lead conveyor breakdown responses, mentor junior mechanics, and plan major repair projects at our hub.

You will drive continuous improvement to reduce unplanned downtime across belt, roller, and chain systems, applying advanced troubleshooting and design modification experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of conveyor maintenance experience in a sortation or distribution environment.
• Leadership experience mentoring or training junior technicians.
• Advanced troubleshooting of VFDs, servo drives, and motor control circuits.
• Experience with conveyor design modifications and improvement projects.
• Journeyman-level mechanical skills.
• CMMS proficiency (Maximo, SAP PM, or similar).
