Job summary

HDR in the United States is seeking a Senior Conveyance Project Manager in Des Moines, IA to plan, direct and monitor conveyance/pipeline projects. You will lead engineering design, coordinate with owners and clients, and manage project staffing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will participate in business development and proposal efforts while upholding HDR's employee-owned culture and collaborative environment across projects and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management.
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: PE or P.Eng.
• MS Office and MS Project experience is required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of conveyance and pipeline projects, asset management, or pump station projects.
• Lead engineering/process design, project coordination, determining and writing engineering specifications, planning work and design methods.
• Establish client relations and be involved with leading marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Coordinate staffing/workload to complete documents on schedule and within budget.
• Participate in business development, including client interaction and proposal development.
