Job summary

Chase is seeking a Senior Associate, Conversation Designer in Business Banking to craft accessible conversational experiences across digital channels. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data/ML, and Research to design flows that meet user needs and business goals.

You will shape tone, guardrails, and knowledge grounding for AI-powered assistants, collaborating across teams to ensure consistency and feasibility while incorporating inclusive design and accessibility principles.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in conversation design, UX design, content design, HCI, linguistics, or related digital products/services.
Proven ability to create interaction design artifacts (flows, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, or dialog scripts).
Knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility guidelines; able to incorporate diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities

Design and refine conversational flows for generative, deterministic and hybrid experiences, including happy paths and edge cases.
Create dialog samples, user intents, response guidelines, flow diagrams, and evaluation criteria.
Apply information architecture and storyboarding to improve navigation and comprehension in conversations.
Define tone, boundaries, knowledge needs, and guardrails in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Data/ML.
Ensure designs are consistent across platforms and feasible to implement; document rationale for stakeholders.
