Job summary
QUANTUM BUILDING SOLUTIONS, INC. is seeking an Experienced Controls Technician in Richardson, TX. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing building automation and HVAC control systems, with hands-on work on DDC networks and integration tasks.
You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and optimize systems, supporting installation and commissioning while collaborating with engineering and project teams. A Niagara certification is a plus and a valid driver’s license is required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years hands-on experience with BAS/DDC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and programming background (PLC/DDC/ladder logic).
- Familiarity with major controls systems (Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB).
- Niagara certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair building automation and HVAC control systems.
- Handle service calls involving DDC systems and integrations.
- Perform system diagnostics, programming adjustments, and optimization.
- Support installation and commissioning efforts when needed.
