Job summary

DENSO in Maryville, TN seeks a Senior Controls Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot highly automated production equipment, mentor Maintenance staff, and lead improvements in machine reliability and preventive maintenance.

You will coordinate with design teams, analyze complex problems, and implement effective countermeasures while maintaining safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of formal apprenticeship or technical training program.
• 7+ years of controls maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot highly automated production equipment and recover operations quickly.
• Assess and address skill gaps within the Maintenance team.
• Provide targeted training to close skill gaps.
• Investigate complex machine problems to determine root cause and implement countermeasures.
• Specify or implement countermeasures to improve machine reliability and update obsolete components.
• Coordinate with machine design or PE teams for large/complex solutions.
• Lead or support special projects to enhance machines and team skills.
• Review machine specs and designs to improve maintainability and reliability.
