Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Sr. Controls Technician to lead the start-up and commissioning of PLC and DDC-based control systems. You will organize commissioning, verify on-site operability, and coordinate with electrical subcontractors while maintaining project documentation.

The role requires 5+ years of controls and BACnet experience, with proficiency in Alerton, Distech, Delta, Niagara, or Tridium programming. Travel to multiple regions is expected and final pay reflects experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of controls experience.
• 5+ years of BACnet controls experience.
• Proficiency with listed control software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Organizes commissioning of DDC and PLC-based projects.
• Ensures proper system operability through on-site verification.
• Directs electrical subcontractors and enforces installation methods.
• Maintains project documentation and updated diagrams.
• Completes commissioning and coordinates turnover to Project Manager.
• Communicates project information and deadlines to stakeholders.
• Supports financial objectives by monitoring labor costs.
• Maintains industry technical knowledge and training.
• Contributes to team effort and training of new employees.
• Willingness and ability to travel regions with high-profile customers.
