Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller is seeking a Manager, Controls System Integration to lead a team of electrical and controls engineers across multiple industries. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from conception through start-up, defining complex solutions and coordinating with clients to meet objectives.

The role requires nine years of combined tech and people management experience, strong leadership, and hands-on skills in electrical schematics, PLC programming, and HMI/SCADA. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Nine or more years of combined technical and people management experience.
• Ability to oversee projects with engineering, design, and programming of automated manufacturing systems.
• Ability to develop electrical schematics, PLC programming, and HMI/SCADA.
• Ability to develop and deploy OT networks and virtual infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects and implement client solutions individually and in teams.
• Lead a team of electrical and controls engineers through the full project lifecycle from conception to start-up.
• Define complex solutions for multiple system integration projects and manage project scheduling.
• Interface with project teams and clients to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Undertake recruiting responsibilities and mentor staff.
• Coordinate workloads with regional offices to refine methods and procedures.
• Communicate project updates clearly and effectively.
• Make an impact daily by leveraging expertise with clients and team.
