Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Senior Controls Systems Engineer in Reno, Nevada to provide regional support and lead network-wide automation efforts in their Fulfillment Center operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and over 6 years of experience in PLC-based controls development. You will troubleshoot complex issues, develop and deliver training, and drive reliability improvements. The role offers a competitive salary range of $112,000 to $179,500, along with comprehensive benefits including medical insurance and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in PLC-based controls development and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industrial networking technologies (EtherNet/IP).
• Ability to travel approximately 25% to 40% regionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive support for complex downtime events.
• Lead regional automation and controls change requests.
• Develop training for CSEs and maintenance teams.
