Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Controls Lead Technician to oversee the reliability and continuous improvement of building automation for data center operations. You will lead maintenance, validate control logic, manage integrations, and coordinate with IT, operations, and vendors.

This role requires 5–8+ years in critical facilities, strong knowledge of BMS/BAS, EPMS, DCIM, and CMMS, and the ability to read drawings and sequences of operation. On-site position with 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in critical facilities or data centers.
• Experience leading maintenance programs, technical teams, vendors in 24/7 environments.
• Strong knowledge of BMS/BAS, EPMS, DCIM, CMMS, and controls networks.
• Ability to read drawings, control diagrams, and sequences of operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for BMS/EPMS/DCIM platforms.
• Serve as the technical authority for controls systems.
• Develop SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs for control systems; govern changes to logic and configurations.
• Calibrate and validate sensors and instrumentation.
• Validate system performance after maintenance and commissioning.
• Manage alarm governance and escalation standards.
• Troubleshoot automation faults and integration issues.
• Coordinate vendor work and verify scope and documentation.
• Maintain CMMS records and system documentation.
• Support commissioning and integration of new assets.
