Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years designing, developing, implementing, and supporting PLC-based control systems.
- 7+ years designing systems emphasizing reliability and scalability.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and control systems lifecycle.
- Experience with industrial networking and various protocols.
- Experience in customer-facing environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically.
Responsibilities
- Write control specification documents for deployment of system designs.
- Integrate control system products with suppliers and customers.
- Lead commissioning and testing to meet predefined criteria and handover to operations.
- Troubleshoot PLC control levels and perform diagnostics.
- Own and develop controls commissioning tasks for systems.
- Lead improvements to engineering, testing, and operational practices.
- Analyze and test existing and new engineering solutions and systems.
- Collaborate to develop control specs and training materials.
- Lead incident follow-up and root cause analysis.
