Job summary
Amazon is seeking an innovative engineer to design the next generation of world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems in Nashville, TN. You will own multiple projects from concept to design approval and act as the primary technical contact for suppliers, ensuring seamless hand-off to the Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning.
Projects span green-fields, brown-fields, retrofits, and varied facility types across North America and Europe.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any domain) or foreign equivalent, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related experience
- Experience in management of engineering design projects
Responsibilities
- Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval
- Serve as supplier's primary point of technical contact for your projects
- Hand-off to Ops Engineering for installation, commissioning, and launch support
- Work on green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits in North America and Europe
