Job summary

Jedson Engineering Inc is seeking a seasoned Controls & Instrumentation Lead to guide project scope, instrument selection and control panel design. You will work directly with clients to define requirements and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery of engineering deliverables.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Honeywell Experion DCS, engineering leadership, and strong communication skills to build trust with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Must have experience programming Honeywell Experion DCS and selecting hardware.
• Experience leading engineering projects and managing budgets.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document scope of work for instrumentation projects.
• Size and specify instrumentation including transmitters, meters, valves and actuators.
• Create datasheets and obtain quotes from vendors for instrumentation and valves.
• Coordinate with process engineering to select devices and create schematics/loop sheets.
• Design control panels and ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
• Develop and track project costs and communicate scope changes.
• Lead and supervise project execution to meet timelines and quality targets.
