Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a senior Controls Engineer to lead and govern how Sight products interface with Ford controls systems. You will set standards for FAST/OMS compliance, oversee virtual commissioning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across plants and OEMs.

You will work at the boundary of OT and IT, ensuring cybersecurity, device interoperability, and scalable deployment while traveling internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Controls, Automation or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on industrial controls engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and electrical drawing interpretation.
• Willingness to travel internationally to plants and OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern controls interfaces for Sense and Vision products.
• Lead ICT and cyber security alignment for OT/IT integrations.
• Support virtual commissioning and plant-floor data interfaces.
• Mentor engineers and ensure compliant, scalable control solutions.
• Collaborate with GME, IT, and supplier teams across sites.
