Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer based in Houston or New Iberia to lead SCADA and BESS control system design for independent power production serving large-scale data center developers. You will analyze specifications, supervise field commissioning and integration, collaborate with engineering stakeholders, and drive reliable, energy-efficient solutions.

Travel to support business needs may be required.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited or approved equal engineering degree (Electrical or energy-related).
Strong problem-solving abilities with cross-functional collaboration experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Analyzes BESS, Controls, and SCADA specifications to determine feasible designs.
Uses CAD/engineering tools to perform design tasks (AutoCAD, ETAP, ACSELERATOR).
Assesses feasibility, costs, and space constraints for new applications.
Provides technical information on materials, properties, and process advantages.
Compiles data to establish performance standards and conducts field commissioning.
Keeps abreast of industry developments and applies them to projects.
