Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead energy-focused control projects, including chillers, boilers, HRSGs, and switchgear. You will guide design, testing, and documentation across multiple projects while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires deep expertise, upfront leadership, and the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and customer expectations. Travel up to 50% is expected, with remote work options as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with relevant experience.
• 10+ years of total experience.
• 3+ years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent).
• PE license and/or relevant industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex system design, including I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Provide technical direction across multiple projects and teams.
• Support business development through technical proposals and presentations.
• Lead full project lifecycles when assigned and be primary customer contact for assigned projects.
• Identify scope changes and new business opportunities.
• Mentor engineers and ensure project tasks are delivered on schedule and budget.
