Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to design, model, simulate, and implement advanced control algorithms for our battery and power tool systems. You will collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to optimize control strategies and ensure robust performance across products.

The role requires hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, and embedded C/C++. Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally is expected as part of project coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related industry work experience.
• Experience with model-based control development using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Ability to read power electronics schematics and data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, simulate, and implement advanced control algorithms for Milwaukee Tool products.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Firmware Engineers to optimize control solutions.
• Conduct experiments and simulations; analyze data to draw conclusions.
• Document control system architecture and maintain project traceability.
• Lead technical meetings and present findings to stakeholders.
