Job summary

Textron's CWC Textron in Muskegon County seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and drive systems for high-speed manufacturing equipment.

You will collaborate with project engineers to develop control strategies, update electrical schematics, and drive continuous improvement across machines and processes.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required, and experience with design software and control systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with PLC programming and control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Programming and Troubleshooting PLCs, Drives and Circuits
• Assist in the development of control strategies and procedures
• Continuous Improvement of Machines and Processes relating to controls
• Review and update of electrical schematics as needed
• Evaluation and upgrade of controls equipment
• Responsible for the development of electrical control systems for new equipment by coordinating the work with that of the project engineers in charge of equipment
