Job summary

Textron's Muskegon facility is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, program, and troubleshoot electrical control systems for new equipment. You will collaborate with project engineers and operations to ensure reliable machine performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field and training in design software; programming experience is a plus. This is a hands-on, safety-conscious manufacturing environment in Muskegon County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Training in design software required.
• Some programming experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Programming and Troubleshooting PLCs, Drives and Circuits
• Assist in the development of control strategies and procedures
• Continuous Improvement of Machines and Processes relating to controls
• Review and update of electrical schematics as needed
• Evaluation and upgrade of controls equipment
• Responsible for the development of electrical control systems for new equipment by coordinating the work with that of the project engineers in charge of equipment
