Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks an experienced IT leader to oversee technology-based processes and develop technical environments for each department. You will drive IT service delivery to meet user SLAs and advise on cost-effective solutions while shaping IT policies and standards.

You will work with decision-makers across departments to implement and support modern IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in Information Systems with proven programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA (Ignition and iFix), 4GL programming, scripting, server based, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and recommendations to team members and IS management.
• Develop plans for systems development and operations; hardware, software, and equipment purchases.
• Negotiate with technical personnel and customers for services and direction.
• Review and advise groups on technology solutions; define IT policies, standards, procedures and best practices.
• Stay current on latest technologies to assist in future IT initiatives.
