Job summary

22nd Century Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced IT leader to oversee technology-based processes at our Holcomb area plant. You will provide expert direction for IT solutions, manage technical environments, and ensure SLAs for the user community are met.

You will collaborate with decision-makers across departments to plan, implement, and support cost-effective technology initiatives, while defining IT policies and best practices for reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or technical area
• 6+ years of experience in Information Systems with proven programming
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, 4GL programming, scripting, server based, and SQL
• PLC knowledge: programming, commissioning and troubleshooting in industrial environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
• SDLC experience and ability to develop/modify specifications and standards

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and recommendations to team members and IS management
• Ensure compliance to IS standards and methodologies; plan for systems development and operations
• Review and advise on technology solutions; negotiate with vendors and customers
• Define and implement IT policies, standards, procedures, and best practices
• Stay current on technologies to support future IT initiatives and modernization
