Saint Cyr Partners in Oneida, NY seeks a Controls Engineer to design and implement machine control systems for a world-class manufacturer near the Oneida area. The role requires hands-on work with PLCs, HMIs, AutoCAD and electrical controls, with travel around 30% to multiple local facilities.

You will lead installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting, support maintenance teams, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards.

Formación

• Design and develop machine control systems using AutoCAD and related hardware.
• Proficient with PLCs, HMIs, and ladder logic; support Siemens controls as needed.
• Familiar with National Electrical Code and machine safety standards.
• Eligible to work in the US without restriction indefinitely.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop machine control systems using AutoCAD, including sizing and selection of VFDs, motors, filters, protection devices, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic systems, with Siemens controls support.
• Lead installation, integration, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment across multiple local facilities (≈30% travel).
• Provide hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting support to maintenance teams, including diagnostics, upgrades, wiring, and real-time issue resolution.
• Connect to equipment, diagnose control system issues, and modify or develop PLC logic to support production and operational improvements.
