E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead and develop material handling control solutions. The role focuses on electrical and control system design, testing, and startup for projects across parcel, warehouse, and manufacturing domains.

Ideal candidates have a strong PLC/SCADA background, 8+ years of experience, and willingness to travel up to 50% to project sites. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver best-in-class solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Strong understanding of controls systems.
• Ability to develop PLC and HMI programs in AB/Siemens languages.
• Strong field experience with conveyance systems and material handling.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Willingness to travel 50%.
• DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of integrated electrical and control systems.
• Work with engineering, design, production, and field service staff.
• Develop overall system architecture for industrial control projects.
• Specify and configure hardware components (instrumentation, PLCs, comms, panels).
• Perform functional testing of electrical and control systems.
• Design and configure PLC/SCADA networks.
• Generate test procedures and forms.
• Be an ambassador upholding core values and collaboration.
