Job summary

CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and troubleshoot industrial automation systems for semiconductor manufacturing and fire and gas life safety applications. The role requires hands-on PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and strong troubleshooting skills, with 25–50% travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

5–10 years of Controls Engineering or industrial automation experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000/ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal/S7, or Ignition SCADA.
Hands-on PLC programming or industrial control system design experience.
Knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP or Profibus.
Willingness to travel 25–50% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA/HMI programs.
Design and implement industrial automation and control systems.
Perform onsite and remote system startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Integrate automation systems with fire and gas safety equipment.
Collaborate with engineering teams and provide technical support to customers.
Develop technical documentation, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
