Job summary

HP Hood LLC is seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and optimize industrial control systems across our manufacturing sites in New England and New York. You will implement process controls, upgrade automation hardware, and advance instrumentation to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have extensive PLC and HMI programming experience in a high-volume setting, familiarity with Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Associate’s degree in Engineering or 10 year(s) of related experience.
Experience in industrial control systems in a 24/7 high-volume production environment.
Food/beverage processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and modify programming in plant automation systems to improve control strategy and capacity.
Develop and implement process controls solutions including advanced control concepts.
Apply statistical process controls to reduce costs and improve performance.
Lead and coordinate the process controls function in design, construction, and startup.
