Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Principal Controls Engineer (Field Service Engineering) to lead APS installations, troubleshooting, and customer support at domestic and international locations. You will develop installation drawings, procedures, and provide expert field installations while traveling extensively and pursuing security clearance.

Ideal candidates will have 8-10 years of engineering experience, an engineering degree, and strong knowledge of control

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• Electromechanical and radar-related knowledge is desired.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, optimizes, and adapts electronic control systems for industrial processes.
• Develops technical designs, diagrams, and control schematics for automation.
• Configures systems using PLC and HMI techniques.
• Models, tests, and measures output to analyze performance and issues.
