• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• 5 years of experience developing electronic control system hardware.
• Supervisory/leadership experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a cross functional setting.
• Some Travel

Responsibilities

• Specify, develop and validate electronic devices and related electrical interface components.
• Conduct system integration with electrical, mechanical, and control systems engineering teams.
• Investigate reliability and durability performance and initiate corrective actions as required.
• Perform root cause failure analysis on electrical systems.
• Prepare and release engineering technical documents.
• Provide product technical support to suppliers, customers and other Allison departments.
• Identify and develop opportunities for product improvements and cost reduction.
• Prepare and present technical status reports, schedules, and budgets for a variety of audiences
