Equinix, Inc. in the Washington DC area is seeking a Senior Staff Controls Engineer to lead advanced control system projects, mentor teams, and ensure safe, efficient operation of critical data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced control system projects and apply expert diagnostics and repairs.
Ensure safe working practices and adherence to Equinix processes and industry standards.
Mentor junior team members and direct internal and external project teams.
Communicate with cross-functional teams and contribute to SOP development and technical writing.
Develop and assess policy, procedure documents, and project budgets/scope.
Evaluate system components and test deployments for complex assignments.
Collaborate with design engineering, site engineering, regional operations, vendors and consultants.
