Job summary

Eaton is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design electrical and control panels for advanced liquid cooling systems. You will collaborate with mechanical, refrigeration, and manufacturing engineers through concept to production, selecting components, creating schematics, wire runs, and firmware interfaces.

The role covers control algorithms, PLC/HMI programming, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and compliance with UL/CE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing, programming and maintaining control systems.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs and sensor integration.
• Knowledge of RS-232/RS-485/ethernet and REST API is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design control system architectures for cooling solutions.
• Develop control algorithms and PID loops for temperature and load.
• Program/configure controllers and HMIs; commission systems.
• Create electrical schematics and wire run lists.
• Test, debug, and validate control systems with the team.
