Job summary

E Tech Group in Lithia Springs, GA, is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, deploy, test, and maintain control system projects. You will collaborate with customers and other engineers to deliver robust solutions from design through startup.

You will develop documentation, perform bench testing of PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs, and provide on-site and remote support. Travel up to 50% to client facilities is required, supporting diverse facilities and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Able to work independently on projects with an organized approach.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Instrumentation calibration / startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support).
• DNA of collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member supporting project execution from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation, procedures, sequences, testing scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote support for commissioning and design changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams to monitor progress and QA/QC installation.
• Travel as needed to participate in design, development, and startup at client sites.
• Act as an ambassador embodying core values and customer-focused execution.
