Job summary

ATC Automation in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Controls Engineer to design, program, and support custom automation equipment across industries. This onsite, full-time role reports to the Business Unit Manager and offers room for professional growth.

You will work with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms, read schematics in AutoCAD Electrical, and travel to customer sites as needed. Competitive salary 100k–150k with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in custom automation or related industrial controls environment.
Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI development, motion control, robotics, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

Develop, program, troubleshoot, and support industrial automation systems.
Demonstrate proficiency with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi automation platforms.
Read, interpret, and create electrical and pneumatic schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
Design, develop, and debug complex control programs for industrial machinery and manufacturing processes.
Utilize ladder logic, machine controls, and operator interfaces for control systems.
Travel to customer facilities for installation, troubleshooting, and support activities.
