Job summary

Bosch USA is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer skilled in CoDeSys for PLC programming and manufacturing automation. You will design complex control systems, specify hardware, and optimize OEE while guiding junior engineers on core projects.

You will lead on-site commissioning, troubleshoot advanced issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards, while collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to improve production processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in industrial control systems design, programming and commissioning.
• Hands-on CoDeSys programming for production lines.
• Strong grasp of automation and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading technical aspects of control projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design, hardware selection and network architecture.
• Program, test and debug CoDeSys PLC logic across languages.
• Develop HMI/SCADA and diagnostics for operators.
• Lead commissioning, troubleshooting and safety compliance.
• Mentor junior controls engineers and contribute to design reviews.
