You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver reliable control solutions. Requires 5+ years in building controls, PLCs, robotics, and HMI; BS in Engineering (or equivalent) and strong leadership/communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Prefer 5+ years engineering experience in building controls, machine tools, and troubleshooting control systems.
• Robot programming, Fanuc preferred
• Vision programming, Cognex and Fanuc IRVision preferred
• Experience with PLC protocols: Allen Bradley RSLogix, Siemens Step 5 & 7, GE Machine Edition, and Mitsubishi.
• Experience setting up networks: DeviceNet, Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet, Ethernet/IP
• Experience setting up HMI screens/panels and PLC/robot programming
• Experience with VFD drives and installation/repair of ABB, Parker, AB, Yaskawa, Siemens
• Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels
• Ability to lead a project at installation and be the main customer interface
• Understanding of safety standards (RIA, OSHA, NFPA 79/70E)
• BS in Engineering or 5+ years of manufacturing controls experience

Aufgaben

• Electrical design of automation systems using AutoCAD Electrical; designs include power distribution, I/O, communications, and panel layouts; PLC and robot programming.
• Calculate panel SCCR, power rating, and FLA for panel rating.
• Direct electrical assembly during equipment build and installation.
• Configure, debug, and test equipment on shop floor.
• Lead startup projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage time and costs to stay on budget and schedule.
• Maintain plant equipment effectiveness and respond to downtime.
• Plan and perform non-routine maintenance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Wire and repair motors; manage NEC-compliant wiring.
• Access and interpret PLC logic via laptop and appropriate language.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, lubrication, repairs, and adjustment.
• Provide training and OJT to staff; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Install, start up, and shut down equipment per safety standards.
• Execute lockouts/tag-outs as required.
