The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of manufacturing experience, strong PLC programming skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years manufacturing experience.
• Self-starter capable of working independently or in a team.
• Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops mechanical and electrical projects to support site goals for productivity, cost efficiency, reliability and safety, and enters project requests into the Mauser CapEx Portal.
• Manage capital engineering projects to meet defined budget and schedule.
• Assist in scope, cost justification and AFE preparation for senior management approval.
• Evaluate, select, and coordinate with outside vendors for tooling and systems design, machining and fabrication.
• Develop plans for testing and debugging automation equipment and applicable engineering knowledge.
