City Brewing Company in Memphis, TN seeks a Controls Engineer to develop PLC and HMI code for packaging equipment and to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems across production and warehousing.

You will design electrical schematics in AutoCAD Electrical, work with Rockwell/AB and Modicon platforms, mentor technicians, and ensure GMP/HACCP/FSMA compliance while supporting on-call rotations.

Strong leadership, communication, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years' PLC controls experience.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC and motion controls.
• Proficiency in RSLogix 500 and Studio 5000.
• Experience with data acquisition/historian management.
• Strong troubleshooting and continuous improvement skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and FSMA is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Designs and programs PLC/HMI software for packaging equipment on Rockwell/AB and Modicon platforms.
• Tests and debugs control systems to ensure reliable performance.
• Troubleshoots networks including EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus.
• Applies drive experience across multiple platforms.
• Mentors automation technicians and supports operations on the floor.
• Maintains CMMS records and ensures regulatory compliance.
