Job summary

Job description

Our innovative client in Toledo is in need of a Senior Controls Engineer to join their team that will provide control solutions.

Salary: up to $125,000 - depending on experience

Job Description:

• Design, configure, and simulate controls systems for complex automation designs
• PLC and HMI programming
• Control panel design and details
• Hardware selection and Bill of materials creation
• Travel to customer sites for setup purposes and assistance on the shop floor
• Interaction with other departments, suppliers, and customers to obtain pertinent information
• Work with the senior mechanical setup technician to ensure that the machine functionality is complete and approved prior to shipping
• Perform sales and engineering visits when required

Job Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of applicable experience
• Prior experience in PLC and robotics
• Working understanding of Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Allen Bradley ControlLogix, and Allen Bradley Panel View Software
• Familiarity with other commercial and industrial control systems
• Willing to travel to customer locations, some international travel, up to 30%
