Overview

We are representing a Fortune 500 industrial manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Controls Engineer. The position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is expected to begin the interview process ASAP. Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Provide input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measures to support the goals.
• Maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation.
• Program PLC ladder logic (Allen Bradley).
• Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines.
• Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with engineering team to define system control needs.
• Assist corporate controls in engineering changes and new programs.
• Guide design, development and testing of electrical control methods, materials, processes and results.
• Champion assigned engineering changes and communicate/coordinate accordingly to all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required (BSEE preferred).
• Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Experience in programming, installation, startup, and debugging of integrated robotic production systems.
• Proficient in reading, interpreting and editing electrical schematics and diagrams.
