Location: Tampa, FL – WFH Mondays & Fridays
Salary: $115,000 – $145,000 + Benefits

Our client in the industrial automation and process systems industry is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to add to their team. In this role, you will lead full project lifecycles for industrial automation and process control systems. Leveraging your background in PLC/HMI programming, electrical control panel design, and system integration, you will work closely with clients to deliver customized automation solutions for large-scale manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

• Develop automation and control system architecture diagrams
• Design electrical control panels and create schematic drawings using AutoCAD
• Specify control system components and prepare system documentation
• Develop PLC I/O assignments and program using Allen‑Bradley Logix platforms (5, 500, 5000)
• Develop HMI/SCADA applications using industry‑standard platforms
• Design industrial communication networks and supporting data infrastructure
• Develop custom applications and database integrations using VB.NET and SQL
• Support new/existing client systems and participate in onsite commissioning/startup activities
• Train client operations and maintenance teams on equipment and control system functionality
