Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems for our automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls engineering, with a focus on SCADA, HMI, and PLC systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency, particularly in the fields of polymers and recycling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems using PLC, SCADA, and HMI technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in industrial control systems to maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize workflows and implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to improve process quality and efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation for control systems and processes, including CAD drawings.
• Program and configure control systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, and Rockwell technologies.
• Implement data logging and visualization solutions using FactoryTalk and Ignition platforms.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controls engineering or automation.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and control system design.
• Experience with SCADA and HMI development.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Knowledge of polymers and recycling processes is a plus.
• Proficient in CAD software for control systems design.
