Job summary

Pratt & Whitney CDS seeks a Sr. Engineer to design and certify control and diagnostic systems for gas turbine engines.

You will translate system requirements into software designs, perform iterative prototype testing, and verify software with regression analysis, while collaborating with an international team. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 5+ years of engineering experience and strong Java/C/C++ and Python skills, plus English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in STEM required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years engineering experience or 3+ with an advanced degree.
• 2+ years programming in Java, C/C++, Python, R, Linux or DOORS.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions for control systems.
• Decompose requirements into software requirements and designs.
• Conduct prototype testing and reviews of requirements and designs.
• Perform software verification including regression testing.
• Communicate with customers and teammates in English.
• Travel up to 10%.
