Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree or certificate in Automation and Instrumentation preferred.
  • 7–11 years of experience in control systems automation/consulting or construction industry.
  • Experience with design documentation, P&ID drawings, and symbols.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and engineering for control system projects of varying complexities, including network systems and motor starters.
  • Collaborate with Controls Project Designers to develop engineering solutions and submittal documents.
  • Perform PLC and HMI programming, commissioning, and on-site implementation as needed.
  • Ensure QA of client deliverables and adherence to standards and codes.
  • Manage projects' scope, schedule, and execution; support proposals and budgets.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestones, and client communications; oversee monthly billing and forecasting.
