Job summary
Thermo Systems LLC seeks a Senior Controls Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of BMS/EPMS control panel systems for mission-critical projects. You will produce schematics, wiring diagrams, I/O allocations, and BOMs, driving designs from concept to issue-for-manufacture readiness while aligning with vendor requirements and project specs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in electrical control panel design, controls engineering, automation, or systems integration.
- Experience with industrial automation, manufacturing, utilities, pharmaceuticals, or mission-critical projects.
- Familiarity with IEC 60204 and IEC 61439 is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design of control panels supporting HVAC systems, electrical power monitoring and switchgear interfaces.
- Develop and validate BMS/EPMS panel drawings to 100% readiness for manufacture.
- Perform constructability assessments and ensure installation feasibility and compliance with site constraints.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical queries and support fabrication.
- Maintain revision control and incorporate commissioning requirements into design deliverables.
