Job summary

Velo IT Group is seeking a Financial Controller to own the accuracy and rhythm of the company’s financial operations. You will maintain audit-ready books, run a disciplined month-end close, and produce reporting used by leadership to make pricing, hiring, and growth decisions.

The role supports growth from about $10M toward $25M in revenue over three years and requires collaboration with the owner and leadership team to model costs and returns for strategic moves.

Qualifications

• Maintain audit-ready GL and chart of accounts; code AP, AR, bank feeds, fixed assets.

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy, integrity, and rhythm of the company's financial operations.
• Maintain audit-ready books and perform month-end close with accruals, deferrals, and reconciliations.
• Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements; maintain KPI reporting for MRR, revenue mix, and client metrics.
• Oversee payroll deposits, filings, benefits deductions, and client invoicing.
