Job summary

Omada Search is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting operations across a diverse portfolio of entities, trusts, and personal financial affairs. You will manage a multi-person team and serve as the primary liaison to ownership and external advisors.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a multi-entity environment, with a focus on process improvement, automation, and timely reporting. Onsite schedule with some travel is expected, and CPA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting leadership.
• Experience in complex, multi-entity environments.
• Process improvement and automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with multi-entity month-end close.
• Organized, detail-oriented, execution-focused.
• Experience supporting ownership groups or family offices.
• CPA designation preferred but not required.
• QuickBooks experience highly preferred; Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an accounting team.
• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for 25+ entities and trusts.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Improve workflows and internal controls across entities.
• Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency.
• Accelerate monthly close and meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare schedules for ownership, tax advisors, and external accountants.
• Maintain general ledgers and reconciliations across entities.
• Oversee inventory, cost, job costing, and project accounting.
• Coordinate with external professionals on financial, tax, legal matters.
• Oversee insurance administration and benefits-related accounting.
• Oversee accounting for trusts and investment holdings.
• Track intercompany activity, loans, reimbursements, and personal transactions.
