Job summary

Gold Adam, Inc. seeks a senior financial leader to own the accounting function and drive accurate reporting for a growing precious metals business. Reporting to the CFO, you will shape policy, controls, and team capability while guiding technical accounting matters, including metal inventory valuation.

The role requires leading audits, building accounting teams, and partnering with the CFO on budgeting and cash strategy to support rapid U.S. expansion across multiple states.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• 10–15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a Controller or senior leadership role.
• Big 4 or public accounting background preferred.
• Deep U.S. GAAP expertise, including complex inventory accounting; experience with precious metals or high-value inventory is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record leading audits and managing external auditors and advisors.
• Experience building and developing accounting teams and implementing internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including direct supervision of the Financial Controller.
• Ensure financial statements are prepared in full compliance with U.S. GAAP and reviewed by leadership.
• Set and maintain accounting policies, and resolve complex technical accounting issues.
• Own inventory accounting methodology, including precious metals valuation, reserves, and reconciliations.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls appropriate to size and risk.
• Oversee tax compliance with federal/state/local requirements and work with external advisors.
• Lead external audits and financial reviews and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other service providers.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning.
