Job summary

Armtec is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting operations within our Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be a hands-on leader driving improvements and ensuring financial operations support a growing organization.

You'll oversee the accounting function, budgeting, year-end coordination with external auditors, internal controls, and regulatory reporting while balancing fast-paced priorities across the business.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Experience working within a multi-entity organization.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with leaders across the business.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated accounting team and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations.
• Oversee preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
• Drive budgeting and support financial planning activities.
• Coordinate year-end activities with external auditors.
• Evaluate processes and internal controls to improve efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
• Recommend and implement process improvements across Accounting.
• Develop and monitor meaningful business and financial performance metrics.
• Provide management with timely financial information for decisions.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
• Balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
