U.S. Bank is seeking a strategic Controller – Investment & Fiduciary to lead accounting, financial reporting, and control activities for a diverse portfolio including Trust, Fund Services, Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Asset Management, and Fiduciary Services.

The role partners with executive leadership to drive growth, regulatory excellence, and financial integrity while guiding a high-performing team through complex reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting/finance leadership in a large financial institution.
• Experience in financial reporting and GAAP.
• Strong internal controls and audit process knowledge.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.
• Experience with wealth and fiduciary services sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting across Investment & Fiduciary Services.
• Lead accounting and financial reporting for Trust, Fund/ Fund Services, Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Asset Management, and Fiduciary/Custody Services.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Drive a robust control environment with governance and risk management practices.
• Partner with auditors and regulators to support examinations and audits.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting/finance team.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation for reporting.
